When you file a document with an immigration court, you must also provide (“serve”) a copy to the ICE Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) for that court.
You can do that in-person, by mail, or sometimes online. If you are at an in-person court hearing, you can usually give a copy to the OPLA attorney sitting at the other table in the court. Otherwise, you can mail a copy to the OPLA or deliver it to that office in person.
All documents filed with an immigration court must also include a signed "certificate of service" saying that you provided a copy to OPLA. You can write “ICE OPLA” where the example at the link says “(name of party served).” You can write the OPLA mailing address for your court where the example says “(address of party served).”
