This order from an immigration court says that you need to pay the annual asylum fee and includes a deadline to pay the fee. The annual asylum fee is $102 as of February 1, 2026. You can pay online at this immigration court website. Make sure to write down your payment tracking ID, and save a copy of the receipt to bring to your next hearing.
A federal judge had previously paused the annual asylum fee because of ASAP members' lawsuit. But the government can now charge this fee. If you do not pay the fee by the deadline, your asylum case may be denied or dismissed.
