This document is a hearing notice for immigration court. It tells you when and where your next hearing will be and the type of hearing you will have. Your first hearing in immigration court is called a master calendar hearing (MCH). Depending on your case, you may have more than one master calendar hearing. An individual or merits hearing is usually your final hearing before the immigration judge where you will present your asylum case.

Before your scheduled hearing, you can call the automated case information hotline at 1-800-898-7180 (see this flyer) and check the case information website (see this flyer) to make sure that your hearing date hasn’t changed.

Your hearing could be in person at the immigration court, or “internet-based” (online). If you have an online hearing, you can find the link and access code for each judge on this immigration court website. Read more about online hearings.
